Private by design

Image bytes never leave your browser. All compression happens on your device.

You choose the tradeoff

Keep your format or convert. Tune quality, resize and check a side-by-side preview.

One image or a whole folder

Drop a batch, pause the queue, retry an image and download everything in one ZIP.

Choose the format for your image

A photo, a logo and a screenshot have different needs. Start with the format that suits your content.

AVIF

AVIF can make detailed photographs small. Encoding takes more time; compare fine textures and gradients before downloading.

WebP

WebP balances file size and processing speed. It supports transparency and works well for everyday web images.

PNG

PNG suits logos, illustrations and screenshots. Use lossless compression for exact pixels, or palette reduction for smaller graphics.

JPEG

JPEG is a familiar choice for photos. It does not support transparency; transparent areas use a white background.

A few things worth knowing

Will my images be uploaded?

No. The site downloads its compression tools, then processes your images locally. Selected image bytes are never sent to a server.

Is compression always lossless?

No. The default balances size with visual detail. For exact PNG pixels, enable Lossless PNG. The comparison tool helps you choose the right tradeoff.

Which format should I choose?

AVIF often gives compact photographic images but takes longer. WebP offers a useful balance. PNG suits graphics and transparency. JPEG is widely compatible but cannot keep transparency.

Is there a file limit?

There is no paid tier or daily quota. Your browser’s memory and device speed still matter. Very large images and animated images may be rejected rather than silently changed.
